Thiruvananthapuram: The Special Court handling the Kadakampally Land Fraud Case returned the chargesheet filed by CBI which had omitted the names of Salim Raj and his wife Shamshad.
The original FIR had listed 27 persons including Oommen Chandy’s former gunman Salim Raj and his wife but at the time of filing the chargesheet in the court, CBI named only 5 persons as accused.
The court has now asked CBI to include the names of all the accused listed in the FIR.
The Kadakampally Land Craud Case relates to attempt made by the accused to grab 44.50 acres of land in Kadakampally village from its legal owners through forgery and irregularities.
