The Coir Board pavilion has won acclaim in the 36th India International Trade Fair 2016 concluded at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 27th November, 2016.
The Board’s pavilion was adjudged as the first for excellence in Display in the category of Public Sec
C P Radhakrishnan, Ex. MP and Chairman, Coir Board stated that the Coir Board pavilion depicting the versatile range of floor covering products and products like Coir Geotextiles, Coir Wood and demonstration of the applications of coir products attracted large number of visitors and environmentalist. The theme of Coir Board pavilion was “Save Nature Use Coir”. The Chairman, Coir Board added that by virtue of
the unique capabilities of coir products towards maintaining ecological balances and controlling the global warming, the products like Coir Geotextiles, Coir Pith and Coir Wood are gathering increased acceptance now, world over.
