KOCHI:
Coconut Development Board is participating in Krishi Unnathi Mela 2018 being organized by Indian Agriculture Research Institute in association with ICAR institutes, SAUs, Voluntary organizations and other Government and Semi-Government organizations at PUSA, New Delhi from 16 th to 18 th March 2018.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the mela. More than one lakh farmers and stakeholders/ scientists/policy makers will take part in the exhibition to gain first-hand experience of many novel technologies of agriculture. The participants will get an opportunity to interact with specialists for solving problems related to farm technology. Around 50 coconut manufacturers from different parts of the country are expected to take part in the Mela. The event will showcase all aspects of coconut cultivation, processing technology and various value added coconut products in the exhibition.
