As part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva campaign 2024’ launched by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Coconut Development Board organized cleanliness drive at SRV, LP School, Kochi, Kerala on 25 th September 2024.
T. J. Vinod, MLA, Ernakulam inaugurated the cleanliness drive. Officers and Staff of the Board actively participated in the programme under the leadership of Dr. B. Hanumanthe Gowda, Chief Coconut Development Officer and R. Madhu, Secretary, Coconut Development Board. The Board also organized similar campaigns across the country through its various Unit Offices. The campaign is being organized to create awareness among the general public on the importance of cleanliness to achieve the vision of garbage free India.
