GOA:
The beaches of Goa bring the state so much joy and prosperity, and it only seems right to take some time out to honour them. As a part of their community activities, American College of Culinary & Language Arts (ACCLA) took up the initiative to organize a beach clean-up drive at Benaulim beach. The drive witnessed 50 participants including ACCLA students, faculty and visitors come together to clean one of the popular beaches of Goa. The event kick started in the morning with a briefing. Participants were divided into groups to clear different areas of the beach. Each participant were given disposable gloves and garbage bags.
Once the garbage was collected and gathered at one location to be picked up by the authorities. Breakfast and refreshments were served to the participants marking the end to the beach clean-up drive .
