KOCHI:
As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada & Swachhata Hi Seva in Cochin Port Trust all officers and staff of Civil Engineering & Finance Departments carried out old files/records today (19.09.2018). Mass cleaning was carried out by volunteers from all departments near Cochin Port Trust Walkway and BOT junction in Willingdon Island. The overgrown vegetation on the sides of busiest junction in Willindon Island was cleared alongwith flex banners, etc. The dried up branches of trees on the roadside were cut and removed and BOT junction was given a new look.
Cutting of grass and cleaning of the play ground of Kendriya Vidyalaya is in progress. The painting of graffiti by students of St. Teresa’s college, Ernakulam on the 3 walls at the entrance gate of Ernakulam Wharf is in progress and it is expected that the same will be completed tomorrow (20.09.2018).
