THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
In an effort to promote the use of energy efficient electrical appliances in households, the Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA) will organise a Round Table Conference on Energy Efficiency in Domestic Appliances, on October 26, Thursday, with the support of Energy Management Centre (EMC), Kerala.
The conference to be held from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm, would aim at bringing all the stakeholders of domestic electric appliances to share their views and experiences to prepare an action document aiming at reducing energy consumption without compromising quality and comfort in domestic energy sector. The roundtable conference will be held at the CISSA office at the Udarasiromani Road, near Police Headquarters, Vellayambalam.
Ottotractions, an accredited energy auditor, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, will be knowledge partner for this event.
The Round Table Conference on Energy Efficiency in Domestic Appliances will elaborate on the various schemes and programs of the Energy Management Centre and ANERT in the inaugural session.
The conference will discuss topics such as Energy Efficiency Lighting Systems; Energy Efficiency in Fans; Energy Efficiency in ACs; Energy efficiency in Hot Water Systems; and Renewable Energy in the Domestic Sector.
