The fourth edition of the CETAA Global Meet which is being organised by the Kochi Chapter of CETAA, is scheduled for 2nd and 3rd December, 2016 at the Bolgatty Palace, Kochi. As part of this year’s global meet, it is decided to constitute awards for young entrepreneurs to promote their Innovation ability. The plan is to seek entries on Innovations done within the last 3 years which have direct and indirect social impact and award the winners.
Two categories of entries being considered are as follows: Innovations having impact on the basic needs of society and Oher Innovations in the field of science and technology
The following are the Jury members to evaluate the Innovation award entries:

The type of awards are: Best Innovation Award – Rs.5,00,000, Consolation Awards (2 Nos) – Rs.2,00,000 each
College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) is the oldest and pioneering engineering institution in Kerala. Since its inception in 1939, CET had shaped brilliant engineers, scientists and administrators who occupy important positions all over the world. The College of Engineering Trivandrum Alumni Association (CETAA) is the umbrella under which they all come together. CETAA is perhaps today one of the world’s largest and strongest communities of engineers, with about 17,000 members and 165 centers spread across 47 countries.
The CETAA members meet once in two years to refresh memories of the past and discuss new concepts for expanding the frontiers of engineering education. The previous CETAA Global meets were held in Dubai, Bangalore and Trivandrum.
CETAA Galaxy Charitable Trust, formed by CETAA after the first Global meet conducted in 2010 at Dubai, is doing humanitarian service by providing financial assistance to around 400 students from the Government and aided schools’ sectors in the high school and higher secondary level in Kerala, from 2011 onwards.
