New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi and a crusader against corruption, suffered a setback when the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested his principal secretary Rajendra Kumar for corruption. Four others were also arrested in the graft case involving Rs 50 crore.
The case is that the arrested persons allegedly showed undue favours to a private company by awarding government contracts to it worth over Rs 50 crore.
The arrest of the principal secretary who is a favourite of Arvinda Kejriwal has resulted in a full blown confrontation between the Central Government and the Delhi Government.
