Janarogya Prasthanam director Dr Jacob Vadakkachery said that case should be registered against Indian Medical Association (IMA) office bearers for misleading people that Doxycycline tablets to prevent leptospirosis do not have any side effects.
He pointed out that case should be registered against Dr E K Ummer and Dr Sulphy for misleading people. Kerala had not forgot the incident in which a Tamil Nadu native, Murugan, was denied treatment by the allopathy doctors.
Allpathy doctors are still prescribing medicines which was banned by Supreme Court. The super speciality hospitals have conducted clinical trials in several people which led to the loss of life.
The allopathy doctors are behind declaring brain death to victims of road accidents and conducting organ transplants. There were several incidents of denying treatment for patients who are not ready to give bribe and neglience from the part of allopathy doctors, he said.
Allopathy doctors are not writing generic names of medicines and they are functioning as agents of drug manufacturers. Unwanted tests are being done and they are receiving presents from the manufacturers, he alleged.
The people of Kerala had not forgot the death of former Kerala Governor, who underwent a surgery. Even the Kerala Chief Minister had gone to United States for treatment as he do not have faith in doctors of Kerala.
Diseases like leptosyrosis, dengue and nipha are seen in people who are taking allpathy medicines. These diseases are not seen in people who are following ayurveda, homoeo and natural treatment.
There is suspicion in the birth of new diseases evey year and allopathy doctors treating people without finding out the medicine for these diseases. During floods, it was seen that the commn diseases have disappeared.
The propaganda of spreading leptospirosis is being done by drug manufacturers. However, if we give an RTI to find out the death due to leptospirsis, there will not be any records in this regard.
He demanded to conducted a judicial inquiry into the death due to leptospirosis in allopathy hospitals. He challenged the IMA to be part of conducting case against him.
