Bank of Maharashtra currently have 23 branches across Kerala, having presence in all districts of the State will be opening eight more branches by July 31, 2022.
Bank of Maharashtra opened 13 new Branches in Kerala for the FY 2021-22 and will be doubling its branch presence in each district by 31st March 2023. Our plan is to have minimum 50 Branches in Kerala by 31.03.2023, said A S Rajeev, Managing Director, Bank of Maharashtra.
The new branches will be opened at Attingal, Chengannur, Changanassery, Papa, Kolencherry, Muvattupuzha, Vadakara and Payyannur. Bank is also planning to open branches in Lakshadweep islands.
We have inaugurated our new Zonal Office at Ernakulam on Monday. This will facilitate more focus on Business Growth and Branch expansions.
Currently, bank is having a total business of Rs 5131 crores in the State with major focus on credit. The expected business growth is 25-30% during CFY. The major focus of bank is CASA, Retail Advances, MSME & Corporate advances. We have one of the best TAT amongst the PSBs.
We offer the best rate in Home Loan, Car Loan, Education Loan and Gold Loan. We have a special scheme for MSME with concessional rate of interest.
We plan to improve the Gold Loan Business in Kerala. We will appoint BCs to each and every Branch in Kerala. Bank of Maharashtra is No. 1 amongst the public sector banks in respect of all Major Business parameters for the FY 2021-22. Our corporate goal is to achieve Rs. 4.25 Lakh Crores by 31.03.2023 and 5.25 Lakh Crores by FY 2023-24.
