Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector bank rolls out Splash, a pan India Drawing and Essay writing competition for children in the age group of 7 – 14 years. To bring out the best of creativity, Splash 2021 will be hosted virtually, which will allow children to participate easily. The participants will be able to register and submit their entries from December 6th, 2021 through the official website – www.axisbanksplash.in.
Splash is a special platform created to give wings to a child’s imagination. Two themes have been created – the theme for age category 7-10 years is ‘Together We Can’, whereas for 11-14 years, the theme is ‘A Better Tomorrow’, both for drawing and essay writing. The participants can choose to submit entries for drawing or essay writing competition, or both.
Commenting on this initiative, Anoop Manohar, Chief Marketing Officer, Axis Bank said “We at Axis Bank believe in nurturing young minds by providing them the right platform to showcase their talent. Through Splash, we aim to reach out to every child in India who aspires to dream big. We have got great feedback on such events in the past and look forward to big scale participation for this one from little ones all across the country, which will help us see the world through their lens.’’
This year, Splash also empowers children to appeal to their parents and consumers to contribute towards the education of kids impacted by Covid-19. The aid will be directed to Khushii, a child-care NGO founded by the renowned and admired cricketer, Kapil Dev. In addition to this, Axis Bank will also contribute Rs.10 for each registration.
Axis Bank has invited educationalists and mentors from top schools and institutions to be a part of the jury panel for this fun and exciting competition. The top 2 national winners, one from each category will be awarded a Scholarship of Rs.1 lakh and one runner up from each category will win a Laptop, while all participants will be given Digital certificates. Moreover, 100 shortlisted contestants will get an exclusive opportunity to receive guidance from 6 highly-qualified mentors from The Art Society of India, and will also be awarded gift hampers. The bank has also partnered with reputed brands like Whitehat jr, Radio Mirchi, Sony YAY for this campaign.
