An American Malayali Project Called “Jaso Fashions” Launches in Kochi

Jaso Fashions (Boutique), a new venture of American Malayali couple Thomas Oommen (Shibu, Fomaa National Committee Member) and Jasmin Oommen (Jelly), has started operations on the first floor of Tammanam Chakkaraparam Geo Center in Kochi.

Film star Shweta Menon inaugurated the event. film directors like Siddique, GS Vijayan, and Rafi participated in the event. Music director Rony Raphael, along with his wife Prety Rony, and film stars Kalabhavan Shajon and Malavika Menon, were also present at the event. The presence of star couple John and Dhanya Mary Varghese Devi Chandana, playback singers Ranjini, Devanand, and Kishore, and film serial comedy star Muhamma Prasad, choreographer Biju Xavier, and others added colour to the ceremony.

Former President of Fomaa Anian George, Former Chairman of the Fokana Board of Trustees Paul Karukappalli, Anil Kochus James (East Meadow), Jose (Houston), Former General Secretary of the World Malayali Council Alex Valanilam Kosi, and Rani Biju (Lawson Travels, Dallas) and Lali Kalapuraikal Benzi Johnny are also present on the occasion.

Kerala Congress (M) state steering committee members Binu K. Alex and Jennings Jacob, Mavelikkara Municipal Chairman Sreekumar, Municipal Council member Ani Varghese, Thomas Oommen’s American business partner CG Jacob, his attorney Lalu Joseph, IT consultant Christopher and many friends of the Oommen family from India and America participated in the event. The function started with a prayer led by Fr Deepu, Director of Operations Femi explained the various design patterns of dresses in Jaso Fashions. Director of Finance EG Lal gave a vote of thanks.
