New Delhi: The Indian Express has published more documents linking Amitabh Bachchan to the offshore companies mentioned in the Panama papers.
Express story says that Bachchan was director of two companies whose names figure in the Panama papers and that he took part in their board meetings “by telephone conference.” “These meetings of Tramp Shipping Limited (Bahamas) and Sea Bulk Shipping Company Ltd (British Virgin Islands), were held on December 12, 1994” Express Report said.
The Indian Express had earlier come out with investigative reports exposing the names of more than 500 Indians who stashed money abroad illegally. The list included the names of Bachchan and his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai. Bachchan had denied any links with these companies
