Alila Diwa Goa is pleased to announce the appointment of Sachin Shet, a product of Goa himself, as its new General Manager effective October 15, 2018 onwards. Shet will be heading the overall operations of the resort.
Speaking on the new appointment, Julian Ayers, Regional Vice President Middle East & India said, “We are very happy to have Sachin Shet as part of the Alila Diwa Goa family. Sachin is a perfect fit for the leadership role and we are sure that in conjunction with the whole Alila Diwa Goa team, he will create a mutually beneficial ecosystem in alignment with the Alila DNA.”
On joining Alila Diwa Goa, Sachin Shet said, “I am delighted to be a part of Alila Diwa Goa. I want to thank the leadership team at Alila for vesting their faith in me for this role. Sachin Shet brings along over 18 years of experience in the luxury hotel space. A graduate from IHM Goa and he began his career in 2000. He has worked at Taj Exotica Goa, Taj Hotels in Delhi and Jaipur. Prior to joining Alila Diwa Goa, he worked at The Leela Goa where he worked closely with the General Manager in managing the operations and maintaining service excellence. Along with an enviable expertise in the hotel industry, Shet is also a fitness enthusiast.
