AirAsia India is thrilled to launch “Santan – Flavours on Wheels”, an event intending to offer the airline’s wide range of in-flight meals to the people of Bengaluru. The food truck initiative commenced on Sunday, the 20th Nov 2016 @ 40 Heights in Whitefield. It all started with a fun evening with Danish Sait, Entertainer in the presence of Amar Abrol, CEO of AirAsia India and several All stars from the airline. The event was attended by food connoisseurs, bloggers and food lovers with a particularly discerning palate.
Put together by Taj Sats Air Caterer, one of the most renowned inflight caterers in the industry, AirAsia India offers to its guests, world-class food and beverage on-board at pocket-friendly prices in its menu, ‘Santan’. This first-of-its-kind endeavour by AirAsia India aims to take the airline’s in-flight menu offerings to the streets of Bengaluru for a limited period.
This latest food menu with new pricing of Rs 189 for Pre-Book meals on www.airasia.com,makes it a treat on the pocket and the palate as well, both up in the skies and on-ground! An AirAsia-branded food truck will go around the city over the next one month, serving some of the delectable pre-book meal offerings in the Santan menu along with a complimentary beverage.Danish Sait and his famous alter egos will be engaging the guests that visit the food truck of AirAsia India on a few days through the next one month.
On the occasion, Amar Abrol, CEO, AirAsia India said, “We love great food as much as our guests do. This food truck will begin touring Bengaluru from Monday, the 21st Nov 2016 and will go around until 15th December 2016. During this time, it will be stationed at key locations all across the city.
