Gen Z is smarter than AI, said Dr Arun Surendran, Strategic Director & Principal, Trinity College of Engineering, and Core Group Member, Kerala Knowledge Economy Mission.
He said AI should not control humans, and human knowledge and expertise are essential in dealing with AI.
Dr Arun was speaking at Reflections Info Systems, a leading technology innovation services provider based in Technopark, here, as part of the company’s ‘Inspired Talks’ series.
Dr Arun emphasized the power of collaboration with people of great ideas and meeting people with an open mind to explore new possibilities. The key is having a compelling and simple vision, he said, sharing his personal journey of being part of successful enterprises in the field of education, martial arts, and sports.
Highlighting the role that emotions play in decision-making, he pointed out that despite the best proposal that a business submits, customers may make decisions based on how they feel. Also, discussing the growth of start-up ecosystem in Kerala, he also predicted a wellness bubble in the near future after the current AI one.
