Unnikrishnan was working as a supervisor at a building material company owned by a Gujarathi in UAE from 2019 to 2024.
Unnikrishnan decided to quit the job when he was denied reasonable wages, benefits, delay in payment and bad behaviour from the employers. He was denied the payment of four months and other benefits when he decided to quit the job. Unnikrishnan approached Salam Pappinissery at YAB Legal Services, when he had to face financial and mental difficulties.
The legal team of YAB Legal Service decided to provide legal service and filed a complaint at Labour Court with documents of contract, labour wage, service allowance, leave allowance and other benefits. The Company filed the memorandum against this complaint.
The company said that Unnikrishnan was given all kinds of rights from the company. But Yab Ligal Services strongly argued that the worker has not received allowance and the final four-month salary. The Labor Court found that the claims of the company and documents were not accurate and ordered to pay 44455 dirhams including all benefits.
