Bank of Maharashtra Organises Rajbhasha Sammelan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Annual Conference of Official Language Officers of Bank of Maharashtra was organized under the guidance of MD & CEO of the Bank A.S. Rajeev on 24th and 25th February, 2023 at Thiruvananthapuram.

A. B. Vijayakumar, Executive Director of the Bank virtually inaugurated the conference from Pune. During the program, Asheesh Pandey, Executive Director also addressed the participants virtually from Pune. K. Rajesh Kumar, General Manager (HRM & Rajbhasha), Arun V., Zonal Manager, Ernakulum Zone and Official Language Officers and Liaison Officers of all the zones were present on this occasion. The program was compered by Dr. Rajendra Shrivastava, Deputy General Manager (Rajbhasha).

In his address, A. B. Vijayakumar opined that Hindi and regional languages ​​are powerful mediums to convey our ideas even to remote areas. Hindi and regional languages ​​are the best options for better customer service. He expressed satisfaction that Bank of Maharashtra has excelled and has been No. 1 on many business parameters.

A. B. Vijayakumar, Executive Director launched “Mahakosh Mobile App” on this occasion. Through this app, English to Hindi translation will be available on mobile for the employees of the Bank. Latest issue of Bank’s E-Magazine “Mahabank Samvad Sarita” was also released in the program.

Asheesh Pandey, Executive Director stated that language connects our customers with us hence it should be our endeavor to connect language to business. It will increase our customer base and will also help in business growth. Executive Director, Shri Asheesh Pandey launched “WhatsApp Banking Multiple Language Facility” on this occasion, which will facilitate our customers to avail WhatsApp Banking facility in different languages ​​like Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu etc. along with Hindi and English.

K. Rajesh Kumar, General Manager (HRM & Rajbhasha) said that it is our endeavor to learn something new through training in this conference as well as better review of official language work can be done and strategy for use of official language can be prepared. Shri K. Rajesh Kumar released “Annual issue” of Bank’s E-Magazine “Mahabank Samvad Sarita” on this occasion. Sessions on various topics were conducted during the conference.
