KOCHI:
Rajagiri Cricket League (RCL) is a complete student-initiated Cricket tournament jointly hosted by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (RCSS) and Rajagiri Business School (RBS) for specially abled Cricket Players. RCL season 2 powered by SBI was successfully held at Rajagiri Cricket Ground, Kakkanad.
The 6 teams that participated in the tournament are Kasaragod Revengers, Raiders Travancore, Hawks Malappuram, Falcons Alleppey, Mavericks Kottayam and Soaring Sixes Ernakulam. The final battle was between Soaring Sixes Ernakulam (96/2) and Kasaragod Revengers (97/1). Kasaragod Revengers won the championship by 1 run.
Ali Padar of the Kasargod Revengers was the man of the match of RCL Season 2 and Anish P Rajan of Soaring Sixes Ernakulam won the Man of The Series title. Vinu of Kasargod Revengers and Anish P Rajan of Soaring Sixes were the Best Bowler and Best Batter of RCL respectively.
The Valedictory function was graced by the presence Sachin Baby, player in Indian Premier League. Along with him were Rev. Mathew Kiriyanthan, Rev. Francis Sebastian, Assistant Director Rajagiri Valley Campus and Balu John, SBI Chief Manager, CEPZ Branch.
