Aster Medcity, Kochi and Cochin Cancer Center have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide free radiation therapy treatment for economically backward cancer patients. The authorities of Cochin Cancer Center approached Aster Medcity to deliver better treatment services to cancer patients following a directive from Health Minister Veena George. Following this, Aster Medcity officials decided to include cancer patients from backward communities in Karunya Health Care Scheme to ensure quality treatment.
