In spite of the Covid 19 pandemic, ICT Academy of Kerala (ICTAK) has recently signed multiple agreements with Microsoft, Uipath and VMWare, showcasing its commitment to enhance the skills and foundational understanding of technology among students.
“We are continuously seeking opportunities for enhancing our Industry Collaboration”, said Santhosh Kurup, CEO, ICTAK, adding that these partnerships will increase the industry immersion experience of ICTAK’s prevailing programs thereby improving the employability of the trainees. “Besides, the benefits of these tie-ups will be extended to all engineering, arts and science colleges partnered with us”, Kurup added.
“As part of the collaboration with Microsoft we will be able to facilitate skill development and certification in more than 1800 courses through the Microsoft Learn program. In addition faculty members of the institutes enrolled under the agreement with Microsoft can avail free training and certification. Through the new partnership ICT Akademy students can take advantage of platforms such as MS Learn, LinkedIn Learning and GitHub Learning to enhance their skills in new age technologies and will be eligible for certifications at highly subsidised rates”, Kurup said.
ICTAK’s association with UiPath, the leading enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, aims at improving skills needed for the new automation era and helps build careers in one of the fastest growing sectors in the IT industry.
This will help students access RPA technologies via UiPath Academic Alliance Edition, learn from UiPath curriculum in current syllabus or class, join a community of professionals and experts worldwide and become an in-demand RPA professional.
The RPA course is intended for students who want to learn the basics, while introduction to RPA for Business is intended for business and finance students. The RPA Design & Development course prepares students and individuals acquire designing skills and develop robots for process automation.
As per the agreement with VMWare, ICT will be a Regional Academy within the VMWare IT Academy Program that offers software defined storage concepts, cloud and virtualization concepts and network virtualization concepts to institutions across Kerala. VMWare is a global leader in cloud infrastructure and business mobility.
Through already existing partnerships, ICTAK offers self-learning contents through its LinkedIn collaboration and Virtual Internship through TCSiON.
