Dr Fessy Louis took charge as the vice president of the Federation of Obstetric &Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), the national-level forum to which 252 independent organizations comprising more than 35000 Gynecologists are affiliated.
He is the fourth Vice President from Kerala of the organization, which has been headquartered in Mumbai for 70 years. The meeting was organized online in the context of when Covid he took charge. He was also elected a member of the Governing Board of the Indian College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ICOG) under FOGCI. He is the Vice President and former Secretary of the FOGSI Kerala, association of 12 Units and 1700 Members. He is an Associate Professor at Amritha Medical College and senior consultant at Amritha Infertility Centre on MG Road, Kochi.
