Muthoot Finance Giving Big ‘Salute to Covid-19 Warriors’

KOCHI:
Muthoot Finance launches “Salute to Covid-19 Warriors” project to honor healthcare professionals associated with Covid-19 activities. The project is being implemented in collaboration with Kochi unit of Indian Medical Association (IMA). The Covid Warriors, who have rendered invaluable service, were selected by a committee headed by IMA, which examined the individual applications of medical professionals.

Muthoot Finance Executive Director, George M George presented Muthoot Awards to 30 Covid Warriors working in the health sector in Ernakulam District at a function held at IMA Hall. The award consists of cash award, certificate and memento. IMA Kochi Unit President, Dr. T.V. Ravi welcomed the gathering and delivered the presidential address. IMA Executive Member, Dr. Sachin Suresh presented the project report. Dr. Haneesh, Muthoot Finance CSR Division Head, Babu John Malayil, Dr. Junaid Rahman also delivered felicitation speech. On behalf of the Covid Warriors, Dr. Aneesh paid tribute to the company. IMA Secretary Dr. Atul Joseph Manuel proposed the vote of thanks.

Addressing the event, Muthoot Finance Executive Director, George M George said, Muthoot Finance has been able to carry out a number of activities in Covid operations, we are pleased to be part of such a project in collaboration with the IMA to honor the health workers, who have rendered remarkable service in Covid-19 activities. We are planning to extend this project to other districts as well, he added.

IMA President, Dr. T.V. Ravi, said the project that pays homage to health workers, would be an inspiration in their Covid-19 related activities.
