  • Club Mahindra Unveils ‘Travel with Confidence’ Initiative as it Recommences Operations in 31 Resorts

By NE Reporter on September 18, 2020

    MUMBAI:
Tourism is steadily reviving in India with several states opening up for travellers. With the easing of the lockdown after spending months at home, people want to spend some time on a holiday, with family and friends. They are opting for off-beat, non-congested tourist destinations and stays to avoid crowds as health and safety has become most important.

Club Mahindra, India’s leading vacation ownership company, and part of the US$ 19.4 billion Mahindra Group, is ready to welcome its 258,000+ members back as it has recommenced operations in 31 resorts. To assure members of total safety and hygiene, Club Mahindra has introduced ‘Travel with Confidence’ initiative which will offer COVID Insurance, Travel Insurance, Self-driven cars, COVID Testing, and Car Sanitation services.

Committed to provide a ‘Travel with Confidence’ experience, Club Mahindra has introduced various measures and practices like COVID Test facility across 50+ cities with a renowned Diagnostics Centre. The company also offers COVID Insurance and a discounted Travel Insurance for your holiday along with cashback on availing Self-Driven Car facility. The members can also opt for COVID Car Sanitation even before they leave for their favourite drivable destination.

Commenting on this development, Kavinder Singh, MD & CEO, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Ltd, said, “We have recommenced operations at 31 resorts in a phased manner, which would once again enable our members to start making their own magical holiday memories. We remain deeply committed to the health and safety of our members and staff, and have put in place very strict sanitation and hygiene protocols to enable Contactless Service and Social Distancing at our resorts as part of our Club Mahindra ‘SafeStay’ program. Furthermore, we have launched ‘Travel with Confidence’ initiative to build confidence in travellers through a range of measures including COVID Insurance, Travel Insurance, COVID Testing, and Car Sanitation services. With these new solutions, we are ensuring that our members can take a hassle free, well-deserved holiday, to relax and rejuvenate.

As travellers would prefer visiting domestic destinations, Club Mahindra has already commenced operations at resorts in phased manner since June, including Thailand and Dubai and the rest across Karnataka, Kerala, Gujarat, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan. These resorts are located at scenic vacation destinations including Coorg, Cherai, Poovar, Thekkady, Udaipur, Kumbalgarh, Dwarka, Munnar, Goa (Varca), Corbett, Mussoorie, Dharamshala, Kandaghat, Mashobra, Manali and Kanatal. The resorts are well outside the designated containment zones and strictly follow the government’s health and safety guidelines.

Club Mahindra has re-designed the entire guest experience, right from check-in, to in-resort experiences including F&B, to make them all contactless. The company’s staff have undergone extensive training to ensure physical distancing, sanitation frequency and safe service interactions. The company is also partnering with leading experts in the healthcare and technology sectors to implement enhanced safety procedures along with Bureau Veritas (BV), the global leader in testing and inspection, to certify our hygiene and sanitation protocols, regularly and frequently. The assessment protocol includes Personal Hygiene, Facility Hygiene as the core parameters.
Till now, over 1000 members have reposed trust in Club Mahindra, and the brand will continue to rise to this New Normal, providing the highest standards of safety and hygiene, while ensuring that we exude the same warmth and deliver our signature ‘Club Mahindra’ experiences.
