Kannur-native Kamal Mohammed was appointed to the board of directors of the UN and European Union- recognized international NGO Ariel Foundation International. Kamal will be in charge of the South Asia region. The announcement in this regard was made by AFi chairman Joseph Higgins.
Hailing from Payyambalam in Kannur, Kamal is a student of the 1980 batch at the Chovva English School, Kannur. kamal has more than three decades of professional experience in India, the Middle East, and Africa and has made marks in human rights and charity activities at the international level. He was elected to the board of the Foundation unanimously. He is the international business associate of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
AFI founder and president Ariel King said Kamal Mohammed’s international experience in marketing and training would help the Foundation to enhance its operations in the South Asia region.
Kamal who began his career as a sales trainee had been serving in the Gulf and the Middle East for decades. He attained achievements through dedication and hardworking for years. ‘Only Merrit’, initiated by Kamal in 2018 for promoting medical travel of Ethiopian Airlines, had won accolades.
