Muthoot Microfin Ltd. (MML), a part of Muthoot Pappachan Group (MPG), a diversified conglomerate in the financial services industry (popularly known as Muthoot Blue), today celebrated the International Women’s Day through their initiative ‘Bliss’.
Under this initiative, a ‘day out’ was organized for the 37 differentially abled women – aged between 25 and 60 years – of Palluruthy Relief Settlement, Kochi that included a metro rail ride, Lulu Mall visit and a movie at the PVR in Lulu. 20 employees of Muthoot Microfin volunteered for this initiative and accompanied the women for the entire day.
The ‘day out’ concluded with a closing ceremony at Bolgatty Palace that consisted of cultural programs performed by Muthoot Microfin employees.
Speaking about this initiative, Thomas Muthoot, Managing Director, Muthoot Microfin Ltd. said, “It is delightful to see the smiles that our initiative ‘Bliss’ has managed to bring to the faces of the women residents of Palluruthy Relief Settlement.
