With 30 percent of the workforce being women, they are focused on enhancing efforts to attain and retain them. Women have brought with them a great range of perspective and expertise in all the major departments which includes, Front Office, Housekeeping, Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, Sales & Marketing and F&B.
Every single woman is driven by a common factor ‘passion for hospitality’. “I am elated to be leading the young, energetic team of ten at Hyatt, where every day has something new to learn and living by the purpose of Hyatt-WE CARE for people so that they can be their BEST”, says Pratima Tamang, Front Office Manager, who is a seasoned hotelier with over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Breaking the glass ceiling on the engineering side of the industry, Archana Udaykumar hailing from Calicut, Kerala is the first lady in the Engineering team.
