THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Mustering of pension in Akshaya Centres is free and failure to follow the order will incur strict measures like suspension of the licence of centres found flouting the direction, according Dr S Chithra, Director, Kerala State IT Mission (KSITM).
“The Akshaya Centres situated on the first floor or above of buildings they function should put up a board informing the public that the physically unfit beneficiaries can do the mustering at the ground floor on a specified date and time,” the Director said.
Chithra also directed that the mustering of bedridden pensioners should be done at their houses based on the report given by the Secretaries of the respective local self-government institutions from December 11 to 15.
