THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) has planned an online seminar on dwarfism and its management on November 16, as part of its Interactive Disability Awareness Seminar (NIDAS) series.
The seminar, to be held at Daffodil Hall, NISH, Akkulam here, will shed light on the issues related to dwarfism and its management. Dr. Tittu Oommen, Consultant Endocrinologist, Providence Endocrine and Diabetes Specialty Centre, PRS Hospital and Sree Gokulam Medical College, Venjaramoodu, will lead the seminar. Dwarfism is short stature that results from a genetic or medical condition.
