UDF candidate, Hibi Eden visits the polling booths of Ernakulam constituency on Election day. Hibi and his wife Anna Eden casted their votes at Mamangalam SNDP Auditorium.
The candidate said that, the circumstances are favourable to UDF in Ernakulam constituency and the presence of Rahul Gandhi in Kerala strengthens the otherwise positive scenario. He also requested the voters to vote wisely for the betterment. Anna Eden said that, even though Hibi has been the MLA for the past eight years, expressed her happiness in voting for him for the first time.
Hibi Eden received a grand welcome in all the polling booths visited. Malayalam actor Mammootty casted his vote in Panampilly Nagar Government Higher Secondary School where he was welcomed by Ernakulam constituency candidates. He said, all the citizens should cast their votes and waste none. He added, the candidates should be chosen according to their ability and quality. Hibi Eden also visited other major polling booths in Vypin, Kaalamukku, Njarakkal, Edavannad, Ayyapilli, North Paravoor, Kalamassery and Edapally regions.
