UDF Candidate, Hibi Eden formulates ‘Envisioning Ernakulam 2030’ for the comprehensive development of the district. The blueprint of the plan will be presented tomorrow, March 31st, 2019 at 4.00pm in BTH Hotel, Ernakulam.
The comprehensive development plan has been prepared with the guidance of Ernakulam Former District Collector and International Labor Organisation Secretary, M P Joseph. The development project will be divided in to 23 domains and discussion of the same will be held. The blueprint of the plan will be presented by the UDF candidate Hibi Eden. An extensive discussion will be conducted as well. The invited expert’s opinion will be considered and incorporated in the eventual comprehensive plan.
‘Kumbalangi Days’, Hibi’s Dream
Hibi Eden aims to initiate an extensive tourism project which depicts the charm of the city. The project will include first model tourist village Kumbalangi, Pizhala, Kadamakkudi, and the historical Fort Kochi, said Hibi, while he visited Kumbalangi as part of the election campaign.
A comprehensive plan will be developed by incorporating various regions with tourism potential. He added, an exclusive tourism plan will be developed for a distinctive experience for the tourists visiting and sailing to Kochi in cruise ships.
Hibi Eden hears out the people of Chellanam
Election campaign of UDF candidate Hibi Eden started from Kumbalangi. The constituency tour in Kumbalangi began at 7 in the morning where he received a grand welcome by the representatives of people and UDF leaders.
The candidate visited various regions of Kumbalangi Grama Panchayat. He proclaimed that Kumbalangi being one of the ideal tourist locations, will be promoted with assistance from central government for a spot in travelers map. After the interaction headed to Illikkal.
In Illikkal campaigned in Azhikakkom, Kallanjeri regions and left for Chellanam. In Chellanam Kandakadavu the candidate was received by a vehicle procession and along with UDF workers departed for Election Convention in Chellanam Harbor. In Chellanam Fishing Harbor by the initiative of MP, K V Thomas received an enormous greeting from the natives of the region. Later visited Chalakadavu, Chellaanam Bazaar, Konduparampu, Company Padi regions.
Continuing the campaign visited the Ockhi cyclone victims in Maruvakad of Chellanam coastal region. Hibi Eden affirmed that the issues will be heard and appropriate measures will be executed.
From Chellanam the candidate left for Kannamaly. In Kannamaly Hibi Eden received grand welcome in various regions. By 3.15 he reached Puthuvype and paid a visit and conversed with the residing public who were protesting against the IOC LPG Terminal. Then headed to Tripunithura.
In Tripunithura, Hibi Eden was welcomed with open arms in various regions by the UDF workers under the leadership of Former Minister K Babu and then left to Maradu. Vehicle procession of Hibi Eden will commence on April 1st from Paravoor.
