THIRUVANANTHPURAM:
Southern railway has extended the service of special fare special train between Velankanni and Ernakulam Junction- leaving Ernakulam on Thursdays and from Velankanni on Fridays to September 2016.
Accordingly Train No.06016 Ernakulam Jn. – Velankanni special fare special train will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 8.10 PM. on 01,08,15th September, 2016 and reach Velankanni at 9.30 am. the next day.
Train No.06015 Velankanni – Ernakulam Jn. special fare special train will leave Velankanni at 2.20 pm on 02,09 and 16th September 2016 and will reach Ernakulam Jn. at 4.15 am the next day.
VELANKANNI SPECIALS FROM THIRUVANANTHAPURAM VIA TIRUNELVELI
Southern Railway will run a pair of special fare train between Velankanni and Thiruvananthapuram Central Via Tirunelveli as per the details given below.
Train No. 06008, Special Fare train will start from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10.45 pm on 04th September 2016(Sunday) to reach Velankanni at 2 pms on following day. In the return direction, train No. 06007, will start from Velankanni at 7.15 pm on Monday , the 05th September 2016 to reach Thiruvananthapuram at 7.30 am on following day. With a composition of One 2AC, Two 3ACSix Sleeper class and Six general coaches the train will have stoppages at Neyyatinkarai, Kulitturai, Eraniel, Nagercoil Town, Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniyachi, Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigal, Thiruchirappalli, Tanjavur, and Nagapattinam stations.
SPECIAL SUVIDHA EXPRESS BETWEEN CHENNAI AND ERNAKULAM
Train No.82621, Suvidha Special train will leave Chennai Central at 10.30 pm on 09th September 2016( Friday ) to reach Ernakulam Junction at 10. 45 am on next day. In the return direction Train No. 82622, Suvidha special to Chennai central will leave from Ernakulam Jn at 7 pm on 11th September 2016(Sunday) to reach Chennai Central at 7.15 am next day. With a composition of One 2AC ,Two 3Ac and 12 sleeper class coaches the train will have stoppages at Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad Jn, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai and Katpadi stations
