Hind Rectifiers Limited, a company engaged in designing and manufacturing industrial power electronics and power conversion equipment, announced its Q2FY19 results.
Profit After Tax for the quarter stood at Rs 2.35 Crore as against loss of Rs 0.76 crore in Q2FY18. Earnings per share (not annualized) for the quarter stood at Rs 1.43.
Operating profit (EBITDA) for Q2FY19 was Rs 5.57 crore, as against EBITDA of Rs 0.89 crore in the same period a year ago.
Commenting on the Company’s performance, Suramya Nevatia, Chief Executive Officer, Hind Rectifiers said, “We have witnessed a monumental increase in Q1 and Q2 numbers compared to the last fiscal year. Keeping in mind the increasing demand of the industry we have added to our already expansive product portfolio and are gearing up in terms of capacity by introducing innovative operational techniques for further enhancing our deliveries and production efficiency. This trend of order booking will continue as we move forward, aggressively, into the second half of our turn-around year.”
