A.V.Ramana, Deputy Chairman, Cochin Port Trust handed over cheque for an amount of Rs.62,69,326/- on behalf of Cochin Port Trust to Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala, as contribution towards re-building the lives of flood affected people of Kerala. This includes contribution of one day salary of employees of Cochin Port Trust (Rs.31,05,938/-), equal amount from Cochin Port Trust funds (Rs.31,05,938/-) and amount collected by employees for Onam celebration and contributed for relief by calling off celebrations (Rs. 57,450/-). He also handed over cheque for an amount of Rs.27,63,624/- on behalf of Paradip Port Trust to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund.
