THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
An All India Pension Adalat -2018 was organized by Thiruvananthapuram Division today (18th September, 2018) at The Railway Kalyana Mandapam, Thampanoor to redress the grievances of Railway Pensioners.
The AIPA-2018 served as a forum for redressal of grievances faced by Railway Pensioners and dealt with 83 (Eighty Three) representations received from the railway pensioners. 73 cases were disposed in favour of the pensioners. An amount of Rs 8,22,181/- (Rupees Eight Lakh Twenty Two Thousand One Hundred and Eighty One) was released towards unsettled dues. There were 10 (Ten) representations in whose favour negative disposal was made as they could be covered under the existing rules in force. A medical camp was conducted for the benefit of the pensioners.
B.A. Aravind, Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer, Thiruvananthapuram Division and L Deepthi, Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, Thiruvananthapuram Divison presided over the Adalat. Officials from the Medical, Personnel and Accounts department were present during the Adalat.
