PANAJI:
Alila Fort Bishangarh, a 230-year-old fort restored into a heritage hotel welcomed its second year with an extravagant celebration on anniversary’s eve. The hotel which opened its doors to welcome guests on 15 July 2017, hosted an array of activities during its anniversary weekend to rejoice its various accomplishments over the past 365 days. Patrons who checked in for this weekend were exposed to experiences making their visit #1ToRembember.
The guests were greeted with live performance (Kacchi Ghori) and a local welcome drink upon their arrival. A gala dinner, cultural activities, and a select Sufi performance marked the celebrations. More than just a hotel that offers a stay, Alila Fort Bishangarh is living up to its proposition as a gateway to the destination, the local culture, and the people. During the Anniversary weekend, the property also organized a Bishangarh Mela to showcase the various elements of the beautiful village and express its gratitude towards the locals. In addition to this, the guests were entertained with a soothing flute performance at Kachchawa courtyard while they dined at Amarsar, a specialty restaurant inspired by the Silk Route.
Speaking on this occasion, Binny Sebastian, General Manager, Alila Fort Bishangarh said, “We are immensely proud of the 1-year operational journey of Alila Fort Bishangarh looking at what has happened over the past year.
