  • Zonal Competitions of “India Skills Kerala 2018” from April 11 to 14

    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
    The four-day zonal competitions of India Skills Kerala 2018, being jointly organised by Industrial Training Department and Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), will be held from April 11 to 14.
    Inauguration of the South Zone competitions will be held at Govt. ITI, Chackai, Thiruvananthapuram while the Central Zone competitions will be inaugurated at Govt. ITI, Chalakudy. The North Zone competitions will be inaugurated at Govt. ITI, Malikkadavu, Kozhikode. Labour, Skills and Excise Minister T.P. Ramakrishnan will inaugurate the South Zone competitions on April 11 at Govt ITI, Chackai.
    Winners from the district-level competitions will be participating in the Zonal competitions. The list of district-level winners will be available at www.indiaskillskerala.com. Zonal-level winners can participate in the state-level competitions to be held in Kochi from April 28 to 30. The winner at the state-level will get Rs 1 lakh as prize money and the runner-up Rs 50,000. Consolation prizes also will be given to the participants who make it to the state-level competitions.
