Taxmann Partners with BSNL to Launch ASP/GSP Service in Kochi

Taxmann, one of the authorised Goods and Service Tax Suvidha Providers (GSPs) today announced partnership with state owned telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) to assist corporates and SMEs in managing GST compliance by launching Taxmann BSNL ‘One Solution’ software. The software not only ensures simplified work flow to ensure user ease but also offers robust import capability to facilitate data import from any accounting software/ERP, location management for location wise data entry, robust reconciliation mechanism, analytical MIS reports, inbuilt GSTN interaction and DSC/EVC for return filing, GST Rate Finder for finding GST rates and HSN/SAC Codes, etc. The bundle of these unique features offered along with integrated GSP services ensures a robust GST compliance software with perfect blend of law and technology.
Speaking on the partnership Ansh Bhargava, Head Growth and Strategy, Taxmann said “As an authorized GSP, we are providing GST services to our customers across the country. The BSNL corporate customers reach in Kerala is around 1100 and at Kochi is 225. With this partnership with BSNL, we are planning to capture 60 per cent of the market share in the next six months.”
The implementation of GST indeed brings cheers to business in terms of elimination of multiple taxes, but on the same hand this smile is priced with a huge compliance burden of multiple returns. Apart from the tight compliance regime, the GST era has also introduced the invoice level-matching concept. The entrepreneur is not required to depend on any CA or other tax expert for filing returns under GST regime. The service is targeted at remotely located small traders, shopkeepers and SMEs across India.”
He also added that “BSNL customers can avail the service by logging on to the BSNL’s official website i.e. www.bsnl.co.in and clicking on GSP Service under GST tab on right side of the web page. On this page a list of four GSPs will be displayed. The customer has to choose and click on any one of the GSP as per his choice. The user can start availing the service after providing the basic information like name, BSNL phone no., email address etc.”
