PANAJI:
The Miramar beach witnessed a rescue earlier today at about 12:45PM of a 27 years old Goan boy, by Drishti Lifesavers Gaurav Gaudd and Balkrishna Ambedkar.
In the noon hours of today, Drishti Lifesavers cautioned swimmers to stay out of the rough waters at Miramar, owing to dangerous conditions. Around 20-30 people were bathing in the water, among which was the Goan victim. Despite several warnings from the Lifesavers the victim continued swimming in the waters. Suddenly the male got pulled into the deep waters and was caught in the sea currents. Lifesavers Gaurav and Balkrishna were immediately alerted on the same and rushed to the waters. They rushed right in and secured him to a rescue board and brought him back to safety on the shore.
