KOCHI:
Yardley London, the iconic English fragrance brand with over 250 years of heritage, today announced its entry into India’s premium air care market with the launch of Floralis, a new sub-brand dedicated to home care. A key brand within the Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting portfolio, Yardley London is extending its fragrance expertise beyond personal care into home and car care solutions, addressing the growing consumer demand for premium fragrance experiences in everyday living spaces.
The launch marks a strategic milestone in Yardley’s evolution under Wipro Consumer Care, reinforcing its vision of becoming a fragrance-led lifestyle brand. Building on the trust earned across generations of Indian consumers, Floralis brings perfume-inspired fragrances to homes and cars through Air Freshener Sprays and Air Pockets designed for long-lasting freshness. Inspired by iconic Yardley fragrances such as English Lavender and English Rose, the range complements Yardley’s existing personal care portfolio for women and Yardley Gentleman for men, extending the brand’s fragrance expertise across both personal and home care segments.
Commenting on the launch, Manish Vyas, Business Head – Yardley & Enchanteur (India), said, “Yardley’s enduring appeal lies in its ability to blend heritage with a modern sensibility while remaining synonymous with fine fragrances. Kerala has been one of our strongest markets, with consumers consistently embracing premium fragrance-led products and experiences. Consumers today are looking for products that go beyond functionality and enhance their lifestyle through meaningful experiences. Floralis is a natural extension of that journey, reflecting our commitment to bringing sophisticated fragrance experiences into homes and cars. This is how heritage brands continue to evolve, balancing tradition with the needs of a new generation.”
Since joining the Wipro Consumer Care portfolio in 2009, Yardley has evolved from a brand primarily known for talcum powders and soaps into a fragrance-led lifestyle portfolio spanning more than 12 categories and over 50 SKUs. The brand has achieved 31x growth over the past 17 years, reflecting its enduring consumer appeal, relentless focus on innovation, and sustained value creation.
Kerala remains one of Yardley’s strongest markets, reflecting the state’s affinity for premium fragrance and personal care products. Wipro Consumer Care has built a strong leadership position in the state, as the No. 1 player in talc, deos and handwash and the No. 2 player in soaps.
Today, Yardley offers a comprehensive portfolio across women’s personal care, men’s grooming and home fragrance, spanning categories such as perfumes, deodorants, body mists, roll-ons, talcum powders, soaps, shower gels, fragrance handwash, body lotions, and air fresheners. The launch of Floralis is part of Wipro’s strategy to evolve Yardley into a comprehensive fragrance and personal care brand while preserving its premium positioning and British heritage. It also highlights the brand’s focus on extending its fragrance expertise into new categories that resonate with evolving consumer lifestyles.
The Floralis range is available across leading retail outlets and e-commerce platforms. The current portfolio includes Air Freshener Sprays priced at ₹169 for 180 ml and Air Pockets priced at ₹70 for a 10 g sachet. The company also plans to expand the Floralis portfolio with additional formats, including car perfumes and automatic dispensers.
