By NE Reporter on December 5, 2020

    DUBAI:
Vedhik IAS Academy is organising a webinar this Monday for the benefit of aspirants for top competitive examinations including civil services with the United Nations.

The December 7 event titled ‘Cracking Indian/UN Civil Service Exam’, for students in the countries with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), will be held at 6 pm UAE time.

The first 1,000 who register at https://vedhikiasacademy.org/events/webinar-gcc/ will qualify for the free webinar. The intended beneficiaries are students, parents, school principals, teachers and civil services aspirants in general, organisers said. The event seeks to guide them in preparing for admission to UN Civil Services, Indian Administrative Service and Tata Administrative Service besides other competitive exams in the Gulf.

Retired senior bureaucrat Dr J Alexander, IAS, who was a Karnataka minister and chief secretary of that state, will inaugurate the webinar.

Vedhik IAS Academy Dean Dr Alexander Jacob, a former Kerala Director General of Police, will lead a session on UN Civil Services.

Academy Chancellor Dr Babu Sebastian, who was earlier VC of Kannur and Mahatma Gandhi universities, will guide a class on making best use of online classes.

The Academy’s VC Dr Muhammad Basheer, who is an ex-VC of University of Calicut, will also provide guidance at the webinar.

The Kochi-headquartered Vedhik IAS Academy, which has an office in Delhi, coaches civil-services aspirants right from class-8. With its moto of One school One IAS, the academy strives to popularise civil services.
