KOCHI:
Department of Hindi, Cochin University of Science and Technology, will organise a Seminar on ‘Kabir ka punarpaat’ on March 7 and 8 in connection with 500th birth anniversary of Sant Kabir Das. Prof. P V Vijayan, former Head of the Department will inaugurate the function at 10 a.m on March 7th at Hindi Department Auditorium.
Dr. R Sasidharan, Vice Chancellor will be the Chief Guest. Prof. Shambunath, writer and Director of Bharathiya Bhasha Parishath will deliver the key note address. The different aspects of Kabir literature will be discussed at the two day programme, informed Dr. K Ajitha, HOD. Renowned academicians Prof. Reghuvamsamani and Dr. Prajnja, among others will present papers at the seminar.
