It has come to the notice of State Bank of Travancore that certain bogus sources pretending to be bank authorities contact customers by telephone, email, SMS and by letter requesting for the customer’s ATM / Internet Banking Pin Number, One time Password(OTP), Bank account details etc.
In this connection State Bank of Travancore reiterates that no such requests are made by Bank authorities by telephone, Email or SMS to customers. State Bank of Travancore warns customers against falling prey to such bogus requests and request them not to reveal any sort of personal information regarding Bank accounts, ATM cards and Internet Banking facilities to any source by any means.
