A Safety Week Celebration organized by Safety and Fire Engineering Division, School of Engineering, Cusat as
part of National Safety Day Celebration on the focal theme Disaster Management has started here on 1 st March.
Dr. M R Radhakrishna Panicker, Principal inaugurated the function at the Seminar Hall of School of Engineering. The Safety week celebration will showcase Scientific Exhibitions, workshop on the theme, Disaster Management etc. Rajesh Kumar, Additional Director, Kerala Fire Service and Rescue Training Centre, Shine Antony, Drilling Safety Engineer from UAE, Dr. Subin. K. Jose, Assistant Professor, Christ College, Iringalakuda will take classes on various topics. On the last day of the celebration, Coast Guard Operations in-charge will deliver a lecture on ‘Experience and challenges in Ockhi disaster Management’.
