    THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
    Mid Term Pension Adalat – 2017 was held at Railway Kalyana Mandapam, Thampanoor, Thiruvananthapuram on Friday to redress the grievances of the Railway Pensioners.
    Siddarth S.K.Raj, Sr.Divisional Personnel Officer; L.Deepthi, Sr.Dvisional Finance Manager & Dr Mary Mathew, Chief Medical Superintendent, Southern Railway, Thiruvananthapuram Division attended the Adalat. More than 150 Railway pensioners/beneficiaries were present. A medical camp for the benefit of the pensioners was also conducted.
    162 representations had been received from the pensioners, out of which 98 were disposed in favour of the pensioners. An amount of Rs. 36,89,222 has been released in favour of their claim for unsettled dues. 64 representations were not agreed as the same are contradictory to the existing rules in force.
