THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Sending a strong message against corruption, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today said “fraudulent conduct” by police personnel would not be tolerated.
“Police should never succumb to corruption. We cannot allow a situation in which the fence itself eats the crops. A corruption-free policing system is essential for the state,” he said at the passing-out-parade of police personnel, who had completed training at the Special Armed
Police Camp here.
Corruption should be done away with, just like the third degree torturing method, Vijayan said. He said stern action would be taken against those indulging in criminal activities.
The strength and infrastructure facilities of the state police force would be increased, the Chief Minister said.
