THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Prathidhwani, the welfare organization of IT employees of Kerala, will be organizing a four-day Onam celebration at Technopark here from August 17, with a host of riveting competitions for techies with attractive prizes.
IT employees from various companies will participate in the August 17-20 event, ‘Mirchi Prathidhwani Onaaravam 2026,’ to be held at various venues of Technopark.
The competitions as part of Onam celebrations include tug of war, payasam fest competition, pookkalam (floral carpet) and Thiruvathira. Fusion performances, chendamelam and DJ Night are also part of other programmes.
‘Malayali Manka & Kerala Sreeman Contest’ will be held on August 19 at Amphitheatre of Technopark Phase-1 at 3.30 pm while the Yamuna Building of Technopark Phase-3 will be the venue for payasam fest competition on August 17. Thiruvathira competition will be conducted at Amphitheatre on August 19.
A tug of war competition will be held in front of Nila Building of Technopark Phase-1 on August 18 at 9 am.
