THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The National In
stitute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) is inviting applications for their one year Diploma in Indian Sign Language and Interpreters course from students who have completed their plus two. Preference will be given to graduates of any discipline and those who are familiar with sign language.
The course, affiliated to the Rehabilitation Council of India, is meant for hearing persons only and will train them to be professional interpreters. This would also be helpful to teachers of the deaf to develop their sign language skills.
