National Institute of Speech and Hearing (NISH) has extended the last date for receiving app
Parents and siblings of hard of hearing students will be given preference to the course. The parents need not necessarily be a degree holder but should have passed their 12th/Pre-degree.
The course, affiliated to the Rehabilitation Council of India, aims at moulding talented and efficient teachers for training hearing-impaired students at their rehabilitation centres. Those who are admitted to the course will be trained in assessing, managing, educating, and rehabilitating hearing-impaired students who are six years or below.
